Freight Forwarder

• Preparing and following up with the transport documentation
• Helping with all issues related to their local clients and providing feedback
• Starland Global Logistics LLC puts at its customers’ disposal a team of professionals dedicated to supporting the establishment of the bills of lading following the regulations, and the sub-bills for consolidated cargo. We collect documents and arrange remittances for the recipient customers.
• Maintain open and trusted communication with shippers and carriers
• Maintain good communication with clients on their cargo status from the port of embarkation to the port of destination, according to Incoterms.
• Assist with selecting freight companies and booking the cargo and other customers’ needs.
• Provide consultation to local shippers in terms of choice of the best carrier for their cargo overseas before loading
• Assist local customers with selecting carriers/shippers’ companies that have the best transit time and the best rates, and that facilitate the offloading process at the destination in respect of franchise on demurrage and detentions.
• We partner with other freight forwarders that do not have offices in the Midwest region to assist their customers locally.
